Abstract:-
Women are more likely than men to develop chronic diseases, such as diabetes, and to suffer disproportionately from disability compared to men. Yet research into health knowledge and beliefs around diabetes causation and prevention among the general community is lacking.
AIM OF THE STUDY
To assess the knowledge and practices of women regarding diabetes mellitus with a view to develop guidelines based on the findings of the study.
OBJECTIVES
Abstract:-
A series of arylidenenalononitriles1a-g and arylidenenitrile esters 2a-gsupported with some functionalities reported to contribute to significant chemotherapeutic potential were synthesized and evaluated for their cytotoxic activity. Six compounds exhibited cytotoxic potential against a panel of three human tumor cell lines. Compounds 1b, 1dand1gproved to be the most active agents with a broad spectrum of cytotoxic activity. Analogs1b and 1gwere considered as the most active cytotoxic agent, being about two times more active than doxorubicin against the colon HT29 carcinoma cell line.

Abstract:-
The Balanites roxburghii is shrub or small evergreen tree. It is also known as ‘Desert date’ and ‘Hingoli’.In present study the antimicrobial potential of stem and Leaf ethanolic extract against S. aureus & E. coli was measured by Disc-diffusion Assay. The results clearly show that the crude extract of B. roxburghii has antibacterial action against S. aureus and E. coli.
