Abstract:-
Study skills Counseling is an act of helping students cope with problem of studying in the school through interviews, and discussion, with the aim of assisting them to achieve good grade. Study skills are approaches applied to learning. They are generally critical to success in school, considered essential for acquiring good grades, and useful for learning throughout one's life. The study design was quasi– experimental that used pre-test and post-test in control and experimental groups. Simple random sampling was used in selecting four out of ten public State and Federal schools. Purposive sampling was used in selecting total population of first and second year students of the schools selected as a sample of the study. The average scores of schools examinations of the year 2013 of each student involved in the study were used. This involved the examination results before and after the intervention. The intervention of study skills counseling was given. Student t-test was used in answering the research hypotheses. There was no significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control group pre-intervention. The t-value was -1.356 and significant level was 0.061. P>0.05. There was significant difference in learning outcomes between experimental and control group postintervention. t–value was -7.863 and the significant level was 0.000, P< 0.05. Findings of this research show study skills counseling has an effect on the learning outcomes of nursing students

Stress is a common problem faced by people of all ages, irrespective of age and gender. The present era can even be renamed as "Stress era", as everyone experiences stress in one way or other in their daily life. Recent researches focusing on various strategies and looking forward for an effective method to deal with daily stresses. Acupuncture and Acupressure is one such method that has a significant effect in dealing the physical and mental effects of stress. Forty years old female suffering from chronic stress related somatic symptoms is treated with acupressure point no. 8, 28 & 29 which is discussed in depth in this case study.

ANTIMICROBIAL POTENTIAL OF ORIGANUM VULGARE (L.) AGAINST FOOD BORNE PATHOGENS
Abstract:-
All the extracts of Origanum vulgaris showed sensitivity against most of the test bacterial cultures and also against microbes isolated from food samples but did not showed good antifungal results against Aspergillus niger and Rhizopus oryzae. Among all the extracts ethanolic extract showed maximum antimicrobial effect against all the standard bacterial cultures except Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212. Thus, it Origanum vulgaris can be used as potent inhibitor for the growth of microorganisms responsible for food spoilage and infections.
