Abstract:-
The in vitro antibacterial activities of endophytic fungal metabolites residing in stems of Saccharum officinarum Linn. was investigated on some bacterial species (Escherichia coli, Staphyolococcus aureus, Klebsiella sp. and Proteus sp) isolated from clinical samples of urinary tract infections.
EFFECT OF VARIOUS HYDROCARBON SOURCES ON THE GROWTH OF MICROBES AND THEIR CHARACTERISATION
Abstract:-
Decrease in the biodiversity of the bacterial communities was observed during the study on the dynamics of bacterial communities during nutrient – enhanced oil spill Bioremediation. Presence of hydrocarbon boosts the profusion of hydrocarbon – degrading bacteria but decreases microbial diversity due to effect of crude oil on the metabolic activity of mixed microbial population.
CISPLATIN INDUCED APOPTOSIS AND CELL ADHESION MOLECULE
Bhumi Bhatt and Dr. Ajit V Pandya C.U. Shah Science College, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad.
Abstract:-
Burrows and other workers (WILLIAMS, 1946) demonstrated growth of epithelial cells, connective tissue and a variety of tumor cells. A number of additional properties of cisplatin are now emerging including activation of signal transduction pathways leading to apoptosis. The elegance with which these cells develop, grow, regenerate and indeed die has been partly elucidated by scientist studying the cells in vitro. Cells treated with 5µg Drug Cisplatin. The result was that due to the effect of drug the cells showed rounding off and apoptosis. The demonstration that human tumors could also give rise to continuous cell lines encouraged interest in human tissue.
AN ETHANOMEDICINAL STUDY OF PLANTS IN DISTRICT JHUNJHUNU OF RAJASTHAN AND MAHENDERGARH OF HARYANA
Abstract:-
Jhunjhunu and Mahendergarh are the tribal district of Rajasthan and Haryana and plants are being used as medicine. Ethno botanical surveys had been carried out in Jhunjhunu and Mahendergarh district. The investigation deals about16 plant species Asparagus racemosus, Barleria prionitis (Bajradanti) , Chenopodium album (chilva) , Citrullus colocynthis (tumba), Acyranthus aspera, Ashoka, Guggul (commiphora) , Curry leaves, Casuarina equisetifolia, ker, tulsi, neem, phog, moringa oliefera, ghiloi, turmeric which is used by tribals of this area. Ethno medicinal information was gathering through interview. The objective of present study is too aware the rural people about the medicinal plants and their applications. Traditional medicine remained as the most affordable and easily accessible source of treatment in the primary health care. The plant as one of the most important sources still remains its original place in the treatment of various diseases including diabetes with no ill effects. In fact ethanomedicinal plants are easily available, cheaper, and possess no toxicity.
AN OVERVIEW OF THERAPEUTIC INFERENCES AND CHALLENGES IN TARGETING CANCER STEM CELLS
Abstract:-
Cancerstem cells (CSCs) have been recognized as uncommon cell populaces in numerous diseases, including leukemia and strong tumors. Aggregating proof has proposed that CSCs are equipped for self-reestablishment and separation into different sorts of tumor cells. Distorted control of quality expression and some flagging pathways has been seen in CSCs contrasted with other tumor cells. CSCs are thought to be in charge of tumor start, movement, metastasis, repeat and medication resistance. The CSC theory has as of late pulled in much consideration because of the potential for disclosure and advancement of CSC-related treatments and the recognizable proof of key particles required in controlling the novel properties of CSC populaces Novel mixes and remedial techniques that specifically target CSCs have been recognized, some of which have been assessed in preclinical and clinical reviews. In this article, we audit new discoveries identified with the examination of the CSC speculation, and talk about the pivotal pathways required in directing the improvement of CSC populaces and the advances in investigations of medication resistance. What's more, we survey new CSC-focused on helpful systems intending to annihilate malignancies.
